Why Give

The Importance of Sadaqah

"The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains."

— Al-Qur'an 2:261

The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever builds a masjid for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise." (Bukhari & Muslim). Contributing towards Masjid Ibrahim — whether through a one-off gift or a regular standing order — is a means of ongoing reward (Sadaqah Jāriyah) that continues long after your donation is made.

The Qardh-e-Hasanah (interest-free loan) that enabled the purchase of our current premises was generously provided by members of the community. Clearing this loan will free the Academy to invest fully in its educational programmes and facilities, benefiting the hundreds of children and adults who learn here each week.
